If you’re looking for private golf lessons in Sydney, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you prefer the absolute focus of one-on-one golf coaching, or the fun of sharing a lesson with a friend, Bobby is a master of ensuring you get the most out of it.
All private golf lessons include video analysis as standard, plus a personalised review after your lesson. Sydney golf lessons are a great way to improve your game and love the sport even more. The lessons can be conducted at the Moore Park driving range or on the course. Whatever suits you best.
You will be redirected to the Sydney Golf Academy site located at Moore Park Golf. Simply choose your preferred lesson or package, and select 'Bobby Walia' as your instructor at time of booking.
WHAT KIND OF GOLF LESSON DO I NEED?
- I’m an absolute beginner – how can I get started? Book in for an hour lesson to get the feel of the game. At the conclusion, you’ll have the option to buy a value pack of 6 or 12 half hour lessons. Make your bookings with Bobby via the Sydney Golf Academy.
- I’m a social golf player – can I learn with a friend, partner or client? Absolutely! Shared lessons are really popular, especially for mother-daughter, father-son, friends and clients.
- I find it hard to picture the corrections needed – can you show me my swing? Yes! Just book in for any private golf lesson and you’ll get video analysis included. If you want to get super technical we can incorporate FlightScope radar tracking.
- I hit them well at the range but the course is a different matter! That’s OK! Let Bobby take your golf lesson out on Moore Park golf course, play a few holes, practise real scenarios and talk strategies.
Bobby follows up and sends you video clips and commentary on your swing, so that you have a reference point to steer your development. He's technical, but gets across his teaching in a very simple and clear fashion.

We have ‘access all areas’ at Moore Park Golf Club in Sydney. Lesson locations include the driving range, short game area, practise greens, bunkers and out on the course.

If you’re looking for a patient golf coach in Sydney who provides a nurturing environment to start from scratch or develop your skills, you’re in the right place.
Enjoy a series of fun women’s group golf lessons, meet like-minded golfers and join many of our graduates who play together after the course. Learning new skills for golf at Moore Park is a great way to drop your scores and enjoy your golf.

WHAT KIND OF GOLF LESSON DO I NEED?
- I’ve never played golf before – is the beginner program suitable for me or will I slow the group down? Not at all! This golf program is for absolute beginners, for those students who have never swung a club and don’t know their driver from their 7-iron.
- I’ve played a bit before, but I’d like to brush up and improve. Depending on how much you’ve played before, the Intermediate program could be for you. It is recommended to have a chat with Bobby before booking as you might benefit from going over the fundamentals first.
- I don’t have anyone to play with – will I be able to meet other women through these classes? Absolutely! Whether beginner or intermediate golf lessons, you are pretty much guaranteed to make friends and there’s a good chance you’ll play together socially afterwards too.
I love when I go out practicing on the range and I get comments on how good my swing is and then their amazement at the short amount of time I've been playing... I put it down to a great coach!

Courses usually start with the fundamentals at the driving range. We move to the practise areas for putting, chipping and bunkers, and finish with an on-course lesson to cover rules and etiquette.
